Liquid Leak Detection Systems
PowerLinks liquid leak detection offerings are utilized in environments such as data centers and clean rooms where water can cause damage to equipment and material, or even loss of electrical service.
These systems are divided into two technologies:
Spot detectors: Spot detectors are used to detect leaks in a single spot, such as air conditioning drip pans, small rooms, and floor drains.
Cable systems: Typically installed in a raised-floor environment, cable systems are divided into two types: zone systems and distance read systems. Zone systems employ cable lengths to surround critical areas and can divide a room into up to eight (8) zones. Each cable monitors one zone, and the system can detect a leak by zone. Distance read systems utilize a continuous sensing cable to pinpoint the exact location of a leak and are useful in large raised-floor areas.
Key features and benefits include:
Non-supervised detection leak detection control head annunciates leaks via dry contact output.
Supervised detection leak detection control head annunciates leak in a specific zone, or distance read. Control panel provides audible and visual alarm annunciation.
Floor map floor map corresponds to leak detection cable installation and pinpoints leak to within 5 feet.
Leak detection cable UL Listed, plenum rated cable can withstand temperatures up to 176 degrees F, and are available in 25, 50, and 100 foot lengths.

Stationary Batteries
PowerLink offers a wide variety of replacement batteries for UPS systems, DC power plants, and telecommunications equipment. These are typically valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries, but many other types of batteries are also available including long-life nickel cadmium, and flooded wet cell batteries.
Depending on the type of battery, the amount of usage, environment, and maintenance history, batteries can require replacement as early as 2-3 years after being put into service. If not replaced soon enough, a weak battery array can cause load loss to mission-critical operations.
In addition to providing replacement batteries, PowerLink offers a full array of services, including deinstallation and certified disposal of old batteries, installation and proper calibration of new batteries, and comprehensive preventative maintenance.
